Hey, babes! Sorry I sorta disappeared for a few weeks.

The same week of the SVU finale my mom was hospitalized with Pneumonia. She was in the hospital for 5 days, but thankfully she's much much better now. She's back home & doing great.

Anyway, everything's somewhat back to normal now, so I can post again. ;)

So the SVU finale was a great episode. It wasn't the best finale in the history of the show, but I think it was a good one.

Well, let me tell 'ya! I'm doing my usual daily routine, take care of grandma, do some chores, etc. I go to the mailbox and I see this big white envelope. I think: "WTF?"

It's from my cyber tiwn, Taj taj_mahal07!!! Already I'm excited!

I open it up and what do I find?

But that's not all... no, no, no... There's also a Birthday card (Our bday is this Wednesday) and when you open it it plays the Law & Order theme!!!

Can't believe It's been almost a year since I last posted here. My last entry was on August last year!

I'm not even going to ask if anyone missed me, but rather if anyone even remembers me, lol. :p

Ok, so... what's been keeping me from here? Lots of things. Sometimes it was R/L, and others it was PC issues.

Last year my PC gave so many problems. If it wasn't one thing it was another. It was just bad. Every time I'd start getting back into to whole internet thing something happened. I almost went stark raving mad!! :p I seriously had to re-install Windows like 5 times or something like that in a matter of weeks. It was insane!

And with all the PC problems I just got tired of the whole internet/social-networking thing and needed a break.

I've missed you guys so much!! And I know I owe a lot of you visits to your pages & replies to emails & such and I'm so sorry I haven't done either.

A chat with 'Ludacris'

The brains behind NBC's "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" are fans of Chris "Ludacris" Bridges -- and not because of his chart-topping rhymes.

They admire Bridges as the rapper-turned-actor who lit up the screen in the award-winning film "Crash" and later "Hustle & Flow." So they cast him as Darius, Detective Fin Tutuola's (Ice-T) stepson on the hit cop drama. Bridges, 29, is revising the guest-appearance role for a second time in the show's season-nine finale tonight.

Here's what Bridges, who was born in Illinois and raised in Atlanta, had to say about the appearance and other topics in a phone interview last month:

On how TV differs from movies: "Breaking into television is a great transition that started with me doing music videos. Half the battle is being comfortable in front of the camera with hundreds of people standing behind the camera. There is a difference on the sets. Television moves a lot faster than movies because there is a shorter amount of time to bring everything together. I love working on 'SVU.' "

On becoming a thespian: "It's funny. I've always loved movies but never thought about myself acting on the big screen. Once I made a cameo in 'The Wash' (2001), I knew I liked it and wanted to explore more of it. I had some acting coaches here and there, but nothing major. Mostly, I meet with

directors and the other actors and bring the script to life. When you do music videos, you're acting out your own emotions and songs and for me, TV and movies were the next step."

On challenging Ice-T's rap skills off camera: "We don't rap on the set. It's all about the acting. We might tell random, old school tour stories but we don't focus on rap on the set."
