Sorry I've been MIA, but you know how that goes.

Well, mainly I've been MIA 'cause this is my SVU journal and well basically if there's no SVU, then there isn't much to post. And also I haven't written anything new or created any new SVU graphics.

In other news...In August my mom was hospitalized for the second time this year. She had Pneumonia again, but thankfully she's doing much better now. In the beginning of Sept. my grandmother was hospitalized also and spent 20 days in the hospital. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with cancer and had to have an operation. She's back home with us and it's been a lot of work, but at least she's home.

Anyway, will be doing the rounds and checking out my friends journals here; see what's been going on. I've been really bad at catching up with friends and I'm sorry.

As far as this journal goes... the thought of deleting it came to me a few months back (since I don't post as often as I used to), but I just couldn't. Too many good memories, too many great friends. So, i'm keeping it. Plus, where else am I going to rant and rave about SVU, lol. :p

Now onto SVU...


Well, that was an interesting episode. The ending of the case was unexpected. I mean I expected him to be the rapist of the other women, but I didn't expect him to be his wife's rapist. Just the thought of marrying your own rapist without knowing is enough to send shivers down your spine. It was nice to see both Sara Gilbert & Luke Perry in this episode. It gave me a sudden urge to watch Roseanne & Beverly Hills 90210, lol.

But, as with most SVU eps it's all about the main cast and what's going on with them - which I love. ;)

So many goodies! LOL!:p

First of all I need to get something out of my system...

I MISS CASEY!!!!!

Ok, now that that's over & done with we can continue, lol.

Let's start with the new ADA... Jury's still out on her, but she's got potential. She's a bit annoying, but then again that's nothing compared to what Alex fans thought of Casey, lol. Not me of course, I loved Casey by the end of her first episode! I honestly thought I would hate the nw ADA, but I don't. I mean, I don't love her; she will never measure up to Casey in my opinion, but she's... ok. I do think she's trying way too hard to get everyone to like her. And what's with the familiarity with Olivia? At the end when she asked about her; she called her by her first name. When Novak started, it was a long time before she referred to Liv by her first name. I must be sleepy or something, but I don't even remember the new ADA's name, lol.

Next... Kathleen... I am so sick of her whole, "I'm being rebellious, and I will do as I damn well please" attitude. I thought Maureen was annoying, but Kathleen's got her beat.

It was funny to see Elliot worried about his credit card, though. I knew it was Kathleen, I just knew. It fits her profile. Cop's daughter, going through a rebellious streak. Ooh, I sound like Bobby on CI, hehehe. (Psst... how awesome was the CI season finale! Oh, right.. back to SVU, hehe.)

The tension with Elliot & Fin... love it! Someone's got issues... maybe some group therapy will help... a marriage counselor? LOL! :p

I love how Munch just kept pushing & pushing about opening a Bar. I loved that he mentioned Cassidy & Jeffries. Aww, Season One & Two love! But, what I loved the most was when he propositioned the Captain about becoming a partner in the Bar and then Cragen said he would consult it in his next AA meeting, lol. That was priceless.

Now, to the sad part... Of course, Olivia. Poor Livvy! I just knew that what happened at the prison was going to haunt her. It would haunt any woman no matter how strong they think they are. I'm glad she's seeing someone to help her through it, though. I just wanted to give her a great big hug. Mariska was of course amazing, but then again she always is.

I missed Huang & Melinda. I look forward to seeing them in future eps. I haven't seen the previews for next week, but I can't wait!

P.S. I can't believe I almost forgot to mention this... Is it just me or did Elliot look even hotter than in previous seasons? I don't know what it was, I just know that I had the sudden urge to jump him, lol. :p *tries unsuccessfully to erase dirty thoughts from mind* ;)
